Christiane Waldron was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon.

She immigrated to Canada at the age of 18 to live and study engineering at the Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal.She graduated with a degree in Chemical engineering in 1993 and went on to work in the pharmaceutical industry.

Her specialty is building and starting plants.

In 2002 she emigrated to the United States. She now lives with her husband and twin girls in Houston.

She started painting in the 90's and has long been a private artist.

Since she was raised in the Mediterranean, she has a distinct penchant for nature and landscapes.

Christiane likes to paint lush green forests, sunsets and highly colorful abstract paintings.

Christiane is inspired by expressionism, impressionism, cubism and surrealism.Christiane has travelled extensively and has also spent several months in Japan.

She was strongly influenced by the Japanese culture, the beauty of the land and the serenity of it's people.

Christiane is largely a self taught artist.
