I consider myself a contemporary representational impressionist.  It's the way I see the world and it's my hope that the viewer will see God's creation in a little different way when they view my work.

After a move to Houston in the late 1980's, I began to study art with Dick Turner and Lindy Daly, two well known Houston artists.  Since then I've been fortunate to work with and take workshops from some of the most talented artists in America today.  I feel blessed to have been able to become an artist and to hopefully give back something lasting and of value.

I teach classes in the Spring area and an occasional workshop.  I sometimes give art demonstrations to local art groups as well as travel a bit in the state and US to paint and participate in shows and plein air events.  My goal is to travel abroad as well in the next few years to paint Provence, France as well as Greece, Italy, and Ireland.    I have a workshop planned for Provence France in May, 2008.  (www.paintingfrance.com)
