I've never had gelato before but my husband, kids and I decided to go here with a friend on Sunday who has raved about this place on more than one occasion. Now I see why. It's just awesome. They have such an excellent selection of flavors and every one I tried tasted great. Sampled the Wedding Cake flavor (which was fantastic) and the Strawberry Sorbet. Ended up ordering a cup with the Mint Chocolate, Chocolate Turtle and Black Cherry. They were all great but the Black Cherry was by far my favorite. I asked the girl who was working there about the calorie/fat content and she said that a small cup has around 200 calories. My husband found that hard to believe because the taste was better than ice cream but I have heard that gelato is less fattening than ice cream. Even if it weren't, it'd still be worth the splurge. Great place!

Pros: Great service, great selection

Cons: None

I love this place. I am a desert fanatic, and this is definitely one of my favorite places in town. I do prefer the regular flavors to the sorbets. Of the non-sorbets, I haven't had a single bad one. The coffee flavor is great. Recently, I tried vanilla lavender, which was interesting and very good. The cappuccinos are pretty good, too.

I am writing this because I completely disagree with the last rating. Since I first tried Paciugo I have not even touched ice cream and not only because it is better for me, but because it taste better. I think it is better because it is made with whole milk and not cream. Plus, this taste just like the gelato in Italy if not and probably better. I also could not believe the reviewer used the name Baskin Robins in this review. They are obviously on two different levels. I recommend Panacotta and chocolate chocolate chip, however my boyfriend likes the coffee chocolate chip, mint chocolate chip, and pistachio. My sister loves the chocolate sorbet since she is lactose intolerant.

The best Italian Icecream I have ever had!

So I decided to try this place out because I saw it on here and it claimed to have the best icecream. THEY WERE SO RIGHT!!! The menu had so many choices that it took my friend and I forever just to choose what we wanted. I chose a sundae and it was amazing. The flavors were great. I loved how the guy who was working there was so patient as we tried almost all the flavors and I was not dissapointed. I could almost say it tasted that regular iceream. The best part is that gelato has less calroies and fat as regular icecream and it tasted a lot better. Everyone should try this place at least once!

Pros: The flavors!!!

Cons: No cons at all!

Best gelato in town

Since returning from a trip to Italy, I have been trying to find a gelato place that is comparable to what they had over there. After trying a couple places and feeling unsatisfied, I was happy to stumble upon Paciugo. They have so many different flavors, and their gelato is smooth and creamy and definitely different from regular ice cream. I will be back again and again.
