The Worst Sushi Choice in Houston

There are not enough bad things I can say about this restaurant. I went based on the positive reviews and was terribly disappointed. The booth seat had a hole in it, sign one that the management does not have pride in keeping things up. The soy sauce dish was dirty, and when I requested a clean one, the second was also dirty. Then came the food. I ordered some kind of spicy shrimp roll and the chili sauce tasted like smoky BBQ--really awful. My husband ordered a steak bento box which was just terrible. I saw him struggling to chew the meat with a terrible look on his face when I noticed that the hanger steak was dead raw in the middle. This is not a prime piece of meat, it needs to be cooked. The reason he could not chew it was simple--the silver skin they left on the steak is not meant to be eaten and the uncooked flesh was purple. We promptly told the manager and he joked that "they must have forgotten to cook it" before he took it off of our bill. That does not make up for the fact that we were so disappointed with every step of the meal we will never return, and if you like a clean environment in which to eat a properly prepared meal, I suggest you avoid it as well.
Pros: manager comped the frightening bento box
Cons: potential food poisoning

First off, the wait staff lol, the one waiter in the joint doesn't speak a lick of English. And the manager, she was no help at all, and I don't think she cracked a smile the entire night. Our order was totally screwed up and we waited more than 45 minutes to get the order. We dine out quite frequently and have to say this was probably one of the worst experiences ever at a dining establishment. This place is a mom and pop organization that's extremely unorganized and run with managers that are not well versed on handling a dinner rush.
Pros: none whatsoever
Cons: too many to list
