Owners of The Corkscrew wine bar, one of the first spots to open in the resurgent bar scene on Washington Avenue, have just opened The Washington Drinkery! The Washington Drinkery is a full bar located on Washington Avenue near Shepherd. This is a place where people want to come to have a good time instead of wanting to be seen having a good time. Live music, karaoke and Wednesday Steak Nights keep the crowd laid back, fun and casual. The bar provides a variety of great beers on tap, not to mention the already famous WAD shots which are always on special. The same great pizza from The Corkscrew is also served here, starting with happy hour and throughout the night. A more extensive menu is to come soon.
