Rick Schneider Middle School Reviews
Quality Score: 5 Post Date:2009-06-21
“My child thrived at Schneider Middle school and we found his two years there to be a most positive experience. His teachers were top notch and very dedicated to their students. Anyone we encountered at the school was most welcoming and accommodating to parents. I have been impressed with the transformation the school has undergone. It is not easy to be the first at something and the principal and staff have done a wonderful job to try to ensure the safety and success of their students. They also provide many extracurricular activities for their students to participate in. This helps students find their hidden talents and to have a place to really shine. I appreciate the hard work and dedication the teachers and administrators have for their children.” This review was posted by a parent.

“What a hateful review the previous one was. I am the husband of Marsha Jones and can testify that she spends 60 to 70 hours a week working to make Schneider a great school. Yes it was a trying first year and an even more trying year before that building the school. The staff is all new to working with one another and will improve over time. I'm sorry you're children hated school, but I know that before long amazing things will be happening at Schneider!” This review was posted by a other.

“Although this is the schools first year, it was a disaster! My two children ended the year hating school. The teacher's cannot control their classes, the students are allowed to run amuck, and if that isn't enough...the principals (there are 3; 5th, 6th & the principal of principals, Marsha Jones)don't talk one another or the staff. There are few good teachers, but the chaos and lack of judgment in planning this school overshadows any good that might be available. The plan they have of moving to a curriculum that does not use books does not work. It makes it harder for the parents to follow the childs progress, and monitor their learning. I would not advise anyone who is really serious about education to send their child to this institution, regardless of the million dollar updates and other special features they have. I'd rather a blackboard and textbook!” This review was posted by a parent.
