Young Scholars Academy Reviews

Very unhappy especially being a first school experience for my child attending Pre-K. This school is so very un organized and they offer no programs of enrichment for the Pre K - 3, their activities are put together poorly and the campus is not even big enough to hold all of the kids. They still have not given report cards out to the Pre K or Kindergarten and I constantly get excuses. It seems there is one person running the whole operation and others are only concerned with coming to work. I am very dissappointed and we will not be attending this school next year I dont understand how they received a recognized rating. My child likes the school and seems to learn a bit thanks to the outstanding teacher.

My daughter attended Pre-K3 thru First Grade and they prepared her well for an elite private school which she is currently in. The only down fall is, that they are downtown and the play area is limited to a small space. They could always use a larger building with a real library and with more computers. This is a HISD Charter and it did very well with what they had, my child still speaks fondly of her years there.

Family owned and operated, very nice school dowtown Houston.

Professional, dynamic and creative teachers who provide attention and dedication. I am a proud parent at this school. Their academic learning program is excellent. I would definitely recommend this school to any parent who is looking for a professional learning environment for their child. The principle knows every child by name. The only downfall is that they don't go up to grade 12.
